Become Fluent in...

English
This is boring, you dont want to know this! I was born with it. Opened my mouth one day and just wouldnt shut the hell up!
French
Living in Canada, I have the oppurtunity of having two National languages. French is therefor an option that one can take in school. My parents decided to take this one step further and enrolled both me and my younger brother into beautiful French Immersion (where all the classes are completely in French). Merci Beaucoup mes parents! Its a beautiful language.... and I can insult you without you having a clue :D

Swim in every ocean

Pacific
I live in Alberta, so this ones easy. Vancouver + Ocean.... can you say road trip?
Atlantic
When I was 11, My Step Aunt was getting married in Mexico. Playa del Carmen to be exact. This was really my first trip out of the country, come to think of it, but boy was it a doozy! My family may be many things, but I can assure you that boring (or sober) is not one of them! My younger brother and I ended up spending the entire week in the water.
Indian
While in South Africa I had the great pleasure of swimming in the gorgeous Indian ocean. I did not realize this at the time, but the coast of South Africa? One of the biggest Shark Populations in the world. Keep an eye out while swimming there.....

Visit all 7 Continents

North America
Well, this one isnt exactly a huge feat, considering I was born, grew up, and still reside in North America. The great white north, good ol Canadia.... The United States´ hat.
Europe
This ones harder to explain. I am currently in the middle of my full year abroad travel goal, but have not been able to check it off as its not completed. As of August 2011, I have been living in Croatia, a small country close to Italy. Its amazing, but not something I can talk about yet! I need to finish it first. Anyway, Croatia is how I got to check Europe off my list!
Africa
My Dad is a scientist. One of those crazy smart, biologically advanced humans that I have no way of understanding. Although sometimes I find myself feeling quizzical about his actions, He loves to travel. So when his work sent him to south Africa, and he offered to take the rest of the family along... well how on earth could we say no? So for the month of August, 2009, I had the pleasure (and yes, it was a crazy pleasure) To travel around South Africa and check the continent of Africa off my list!

Live in a different location for 3 months

My whole world kind of changed the day that I applied for the interprovincial exchage that my school was apart of. I remember the day that I got accepted, I remember the day that I got word from my exchange partner, I remember when she got to Alberta, when she left, and I especially remember the day that I left to live in Montreal with her family for 3 months. It was in January 2011 that I arrived in Montreal, lugging two suitcases. Coming from the small town that I do, I even said hi to strangers on the street. They of course looked at me like I was insane. I was thrust into a world where I was only allowed to speak french (thank god I knew it)! It was a very interesting 3 months before I left in April, full of ups and downs... and all arounds :) But one thing is for sure, Its changed me for the better, and that is one thing checked of my list.

The Impossible list... of possible things.

Oh Hello there click happy internet user!
A few days ago whilst on one of my many and vast explorations of the internet, I came upon an Idea. The idea was to create an impossible list. A list that when combined seems impossible to complete, but when broken down into sections, and then into individual goals... becomes, well, possible. At first it just seemed like another fad of the internet, in one of my eyes and right out the other. It wasnt until later that I found myself thinking.. You know, maybe having all of your goals laid out in front of you could be...motivating.

So I started. I found the page that I had previously skimmed over so thoughlessly and took tips, began creating my list. Right now, it looks like this.

So there it is. I, a simple 17 year old girl from Canada, have finally given myself a reason to stop saying no. Every oppurtunity could lead to the completion of one of these goals, to one more strike off, and I hope it does. Because a bucket list isnt something you should have when the end is getting closer. A bucket list is something you should work on your whole life.

Everytime something gets crossed of this list, or added, Ill write about it. Ill give a date, a story, and hopefully a reason for someone else to start working on their own goals.!
